Finance Department

The Finance Department has the overall responsibility for the administration of the City’s fiscal affairs.  This includes accounting, budget office, central purchasing, treasury management, utility billing and information techology.

In conjunction with the City Manager, the Finance Department prepares and publishes the annual operating budget, a Five (5) Year Capital Program, and a Five (5) Year Financial Plan for discussion and adoption by the City Commission.  The Finance Department also coordinates the annual audit of the City’s financial affairs with the independent auditor and prepares the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and prepares all federal, state and regulatory reports required by Law.
