Code Enforcement

Daytona Beach residents are both interested and involved in keeping our city clean, safe and in good appearance for all of us.  It is because our citizens want safe, sound neighborhoods that we are proactive in our enforcement efforts.

Most of the complaints we receive are regarding high weeds or grass and junk vehicles left abandoned in yards. (See examples of our top violations.)  As individuals, we can maintain our properties by keeping them neat; free from debris, outside storage, removing all junk vehicles in a timely manner and keeping our lawns mowed.  In addition, maintaining your real property (home or business) by keeping it painted and in good repair will ensure that we will all have neighborhoods we can be proud of.

Should you wish to report a problem or ask about a violation notice you have received, you may leave a message at our 24 hour phone line 386-271-CODE(2633) or via our online violation reporting service.

We look forward to working with you to keep the City of  Daytona Beach beautiful and thank you for your assistance with this goal.
